Growing our PURPOSE...

While the article linked below is from close to a year ago, the intentions are more relavalent now that ever. With today being the fifth day of Kwanzaa, the day of Nia, which means PURPOSE, what better day than today to reevaluate our Nia?

Local Matters has reached its toddler stage having been servicing Central Ohio for about 4 years but its time for us to go to school and grow. Taking note from some of the organizations in these articles, Local Matters is taking note and taking flight on some new programs for the New Year.

Gotham Gazette-Food Justice
I am excited to see how Local Matters can grow to help our fellow wo/man in fighting for food justice and sustainable agriculture for all. Although we are currently here in Central Ohio, this is only the beginning because "the journey of a lifetime starts with a single step," (although its cliche, its sooo true!)
