Jill Snitcher

Jill Snitcher has been the Executive Director of the Columbus Bar Association since 2010, and is a Certified Association Executive. In this capacity, she manages the Columbus Bar Foundation as well as two for profit subsidiaries, including an insurance agency.

Snitcher received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her law degree from Capital University Law School, with a concentration in governmental affairs. Snitcher was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 1999 and previously practiced in the area of attorney discipline and the unauthorized practice of law. She is a Past President of the Women Lawyers of Franklin County, and is a member of the Columbus, Ohio State, and American Bar Associations. Jill was named Alumni of the Year by Capital University Law School in 2016.

The Columbus Bar Association is nationally known for being a leader in developing programs to advance the legal profession, including the Minority Clerkship Program, Columbus Bar Interpreter Services Agency; Columbus Bar Realty Services, and ColumbusLawyers.com. Under Jill’s leadership, the CBA received national recognition for starting the first lawyer incubator program in the country. The CBA has also been honored by Business First and the American Bar Association for its efforts in increasing diversity in the central Ohio legal profession.

Jill is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast, who strongly believes that mental and physical wellness are a critical aspect of making executives fit to lead. She enjoys strength training, cycling, yoga, paddleboarding, golf, and hiking.
