Terence grew up immersed in the family Chinese restaurant business in suburban Cleveland, developing a deep appreciation of food and the restaurant world. He later moved to Columbus to study Business Administration at The Ohio State University. With earlier years steeped in Chinese cuisine plus later Western cooking experiences across various restaurants, Terence gained well-rounded expertise.

Driven by a passion for honoring food and bringing people together, Terence aspires to celebrate culinary traditions, reduce food waste, and share the inherent value of ingredients through his work. Though rooted in Cleveland's Chinese community, he strives to showcase diverse cultures through cuisine and unite people around the dining table. After witnessing disregard for food in many kitchens, Terence hopes to spread awareness of food's ability to build community.
